inhale. exhale.

December 1st and I see snow swirling outside my window this morning. Team Testosterone has helpfully reminded me that there are "only 3 1/2 weeks until Santa" and suddenly my to-do list grew exponentially.

I'm breathing in all the serenity I can, including a visit to Anne Marie's Na-Da Farm Life blog where I found to my delight the exact same paper wreath at her house that I made and hung in mine! Well, except that mine was made out of a college textbook about arguments. Mr. D is mocking my "simple Christmas decorating," but I really don't care. I like it and that's that.

Snow, serenity, Santa countdowns, spaghetti planned for supper. That sums it up here. Oh, and stockings. My sons found their stockings and are all jazzed up for St. Nick's Eve, which is only a big deal for us because we live surrounded by a bunch of Dutch. I have to find something to stuff in their stockings and figure out which night it falls on--I always forget whether it's the night of the fifth or the morning of the fifth. Either way, shame on me if I forget and my sons go to school and hear how St. Nicholas visited everyone else's house but theirs!

Speaking of stockings, Anne Marie has some lovely burlap stockings for sale at her NaDa Farm Shop. November's FABULOUS is winner's choice over at her store. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment in the comment box. Every comment counts as an entry to win.

Spill it, reader. Are your stockings hung? Or aren't you influenced by those Dutch immigrant families?
