Today I take Mr. T to the pediatric neurologist. He's been seizure free for over a year and the doctor will give the go-ahead to try him off his medication to see if the seizures are gone. For good.
He has an 80% chance of outgrowing the seizure disorder by puberty. A 60% chance he'll outgrow them before puberty.
The remaining % chance is that he'll have the seizures his whole life.
The only way to find out is to take him off the meds and do a dry run.
You now have a pretty good idea of what I'm praying about lately.
