Gorgeous Etsy Treasury
I discovered this Etsy artist, SweptFromTheSea, when I found one of my bags on an Etsy Front Page in July. I recently had the honor of being featured in one of her most recent treasuries featuring Red and Black (which I feel is VERY Front Page worthy!). This treasury has been so tastefully assembled --so romantic! I'm really lovin' that Paper Flower Kit. I would buy the entire contents of this collection if I could afford it! :)
p.s. And speaking of red, I have a total weakness for leather, fringe, and red. I've been eying these boots for a while and finally caved. I swear, I will stop buying shoes TODAY! Starting next month. ;)

Reminds me of when I used to work at Banana Republic when I was 16. I finally quit when I was 18 and think all of my paychecks went right back to that store. I worked 20 hours/week, so you can imagine how much clothing I accumulated over the years. I got lots of retail and sales experience though! And two closets full of Banana clothes to show for it. Good thing I can still wear it all...

Friday Picks: Fall Harvest
Well, based on my latest batch of Travelers, there's an obvious indication that it's Fall! Lots of oranges and browns; I love it. Now all I need is a big mug of hot chocolate with one of these scrumptious dulce de leche vanilla marshmallows.

Friday Picks: Winter on my Mind
Every-so-often (like, every Thursday), The Boy and I head to our favorite cupcake place in Austin (the only one?), Hey Cupcake! The biggest, richest cupcakes you'll ever have. This time around we bought four! Why? Who knows. This isn't great for my weight loss plan...
24 Carrot and Red Velvet. The Boy stuck his finger in the icing on one of the 24 Carrot cakes!
As I was looking at our quarter-empty box, I was reminded me of a pretty winter wonderland and decided to make a treasury accordingly. Is it too early to think about winter?

Seafoam and Sunshine
I made a treasury recently called "Seafoam and Sunshine" featuring lots of pretty finds on Etsy.
I loved these colors together so much that I decided to photograph a custom order of a Baby Ruche Bag featuring these two colors.

I was asked to make the Baby Ruche with a wider top (much like an over-sized Clutch), and I think the result was quite nice!
I'm changing all the straps of the larger bags to a skinnier strap so that they stay on nicely when worn upon large winter coats. Plus, I think it looks pretty chic that way. What do you think?

i love leather
I had a custom request to make the hip pocket in leather. I've been wanting to use leather for a while, but this request was the one that pushed me to finally make something. I have to say, it's like an addition. I'm losing sleep sewing these up. I'm secretly hoping she doesn't want them so I can keep them for myself. :) :) Just kidding!
If you want one of these, ask me what leathers I have. The dark one listed is one of a kind, so no more of that. Distressed is available and I've got lots of other shades of brown. :) I also have white (more like sand) suede and light brown split, as posted here. Love this. I even made a treasury dedicated to leather.
p.s. I'm accepting custom orders on these so you can choose your leather, brass or nickel snaps, and keychain or sans keychain.
