Fashion: Shoes For Fall

Hi - it's Casie Mace. As Jen get back from her travels and settles in - I'll be here today. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say, I'm so excited about fall shopping! Truthfully, fall shopping is the only thing that softens the blow of the summer ending. Usually around this time, though, I can't bring myself to invest in too many sweaters and coats--not just yet. 

So I get my pre-fall fix with shoes!! It's so fun to start mixing plums and hunter greens in with the whites and lights of summer. Here's a few fall shoes I've eyeing. How versatile will those fringed western boots be?! And with denim shorts until it's too chilly  to stand it!

Flats Galore...

Hello everyone, how are you??

While I settle in at my new apartment (as a renter) - I'll be posting a weekly series called "the good, the bad, the ugly" about the rental experience. Not sure how long the series will last - but it should be interesting! If you live in an apartment & would like to submit to the series, email me!

On another note, SPRING will be here relatively soon & that means we can put away our winter boots! 

So, what will we be wearing? How about flats? I used to HATE flats in high school - thought they made my 8 1/2 feet look like canoes. Anyone else felt that way?!?


I finally go the courage to wear them in college & to this day, I love them! These days they have so many styles to choose from - so it's pretty easy to find a pair you like. They're comfortable & stylish - now living in NYC, it's essential to own flats because I'll be walking quite a lot!

OMG what a deal....at Michael Kors

 Ok, so I thought I would get myself a wedding gift & decided to hit the strip.  I walked into the Michael Kors store at Ceasars Palace and fell in LOVE with these Kinkade slouch boots!  Best part was... they were on sale for $99 !! (Normally $200).  At that moment I knew I couldn't pass up this great deal, so, I bought them! Cha Cha Ching!! Doesn't it feel good when you run into a SALE of this kind? Name brand shoes under $100, can't beat that. They come in 3 different colors, black, gray & camel.  Of course I chose the camel colored ones since I don't own any boots in that color.
