Kelly Wearstler's Home for Sale......(Via Made By Girl)

Did you know that Designer Kelly Wearstler's Mansion is on the market??

I love how ShelterPop said it best...and I quote, "If you have $46 million dollars and love animal prints, this one's for you." Her mansion is situated in Beverly Hills, California (of course). She purchased the property with her husband about 5 years ago for ONLY $25 million , well not only....but now she's going to profit a good chunk of change. Good job Kelly! Below is a glimpse of Kelly's 11,000+ sq. foot home, enjoy!

A "WOW" home in Malaysia...

Whenever I think of Malaysia, I don't often think of gorgeous homes....instead I think of beautiful beaches and vacation getaways.  So, when I came across this home via the New York Times I was taken aback! I am also really impressed by the artwork as well as the furniture within this apartment...and I bet the view from that balcony is breathtaking. The owners of this condo are quite fortunate indeed!

Does anyone out there live in Malaysia? or stayed in a gorgeous place in Malaysia? Let us know what your experience has been like there?

Ok, so I don't need a 'MARIAH CLOSET"...

But.... it would be nice to open my closet door & see a shelf that fits everything! My wardrobe, shoe-shelf needs help! I've been looking at some closets online and was amazed by Mariah Carey's HUGE closet room! But......come on! There is no way I could even fit my shoes into a space that large!  I thought I had a lot of shoes....obviously not!  My closet is the frumpy one below.  Do you notice the awful shelving?  There you'll see some of my shoes, (it came built-in with the house when we bought it). This shelf will NOT fit all my shoes, it's made in such a way that most of my high heels don't even stay, they fall off!  So, the rest of my shoes are on the floor.....all my boots & heels, on the FLOOR!

Like most women, I take over the largest closet (usually in the master bedroom) & make it my own! My poor husband, he usually ends up with the hall closet or the guest bedroom closet! Sorry!
Do you have a shoe-shelf in your closet? Do you share your closet with your guy? How do you like it??

Here is a list of what my dream closet would consist of:
  • a mirror
  • recessed lighting or chandelier
  • a beautifully upholstered ottoman to sit on
  • useful shelving for shoes
  • a large drawer just for my jewelry
  • fresh flowers
  • OH & an entire room would be nice!

I LOVE Creative People....

Apartment Therapy always impresses me with their content, this one in particular caught my eye. Perhaps because its such a creative space ... Situated in Los Angeles this 1,200 sq. ft loft was built in 1905. However, this wasn't a residential space back then, it was the Pacific Electric Building, a space used as a terminal and an office for the downtown streetcar operations. Get this, It was supposedly LA's first skyscraper, wow!! To see more go here.

For me, decorating a space with your own art (art that you made) is so personal and meaningful. I have quite a few pieces in my own home that I painted.
The couple that lives here, Anne Faith Nicolls & Jacob Arden McClure are great artists as you will see throughout their loft. Great job to both of them for making this space their own. To see more go

Top Notch Soho Loft

I came across this awesome LOFT rental from one of my favorite neighborhoods in New York City, SOHO. When I lived in NYC for 10 years I would walk through this neighborhood for shopping and to check out the amazing architectural details of some of these buildings. Soho has so many little boutiques, cafes and art galleries. However to own property here you have to have some kind of
DINERO (money) because most of the real estate here is sky high $$$ and boy are some of these places worth it! Looking at these pictures makes me really miss NYC! It would be a DREAM of mine to own a place like this! Supposedly this rental goes for $950/night and it is about 2500 sq ft.! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. These pics are from NYC Tourist.
